Views, Views and Views!!! Costa Rica is a country that has mountains 13,000ft high and is on average 50 miles wide from Coast to Coast.  So fortunate for you this country is filled with amazing views. Just add a few waterfalls and volcanoes to the scenario and you are in for one of the most picturesque vacations you’ve ever had.

The views in Costa Rica can be of many different things. For example our office in the Central Valley gives us a view of the mountains but we also see all the city lights at night. It is not until we get out on the trips that our views turn into 100% nature. When picking a hotel one of our first questions is (besides being clean of course),  “Does the room have a view?” Once we see the view then we start checking with other details of the hotel.

What kind of views do we look for?

This all depends. If you are at the beach then you obviously want an ocean view. If you are at the volcano you surely want to see the volcano. If you are at the cloud-forest sometimes just looking into the jungle and having the chance to see and hear the heavy rains hit the large leaves of the jungle is the most relaxing and pleasant type of view for that area. So the answer to the question is we look for the views that fit the area where you will be staying.

Views don’t just come from the hotel. One of the best parts about being on a private tour is that you can tell the bus when to go and when to stop. Some of the best views and pictures are taken from the side of the road. Also it might be a short hike to get to a hill to watch a sunset or sunrise.

From our experience the best view in all of the country comes from Mount Chirripo which is the tallest peak of Costa Rica and the second tallest in Central America. It is quite the hike to the top but one of the most majestic moments you will have and a 360 degree view that is out of this world.

With so much to see you can count on Costa Rica doing its part of opening up to some of the best views you can imagine.
