Culture Experience

If you do not experience the culture of another country when you travel you might as well stay home. One of the most important aspects of traveling abroad is to see, hear, and taste just how different the rest of the world is and how well things can function even when they are done a little bit differently. We take pride in our cultural experiences ranging from visiting some of the most elite Universities of our Planet (United Nations University of Peace is located in Costa Rica) to visiting some of the most simple rural village people and indigenous tribes of Costa Rica. Through all of these encounters we require students to reflect on their experiences, compare styles of living, and embrace the PURA VIDA lifestyle of all they encounter during their stay in Costa Rica.

Costa Rica lends itself to being an excellent area for experiencing a different culture. The people are some of the most inviting of any country you will visit. Our guests are always treated as royalty but we always require that they wash their own dishes so don't think just being a guest in a new culture you will get out of dish duty!
