INBIO
Costa Rica is a small country but did you know every two days it introduces a new species to the field of science and biodiversity. This is only made possible by the INBIO which is the Institute of Biodiversity located just outside of San Jose in the area of Santo Domingo de Heredia.
INBIO was started in 1989 as a private, public interest, non-profit institution to promote greater awareness and conservation of the biodiversity of Costa Rica and the tropics. At the INBIO park there are labs for scientists to study the different species of Costa Rica as they are introduced by different field studies from INBIO.
The grounds of INBIO are also open to the public as they have set up and designed a park for the better understanding and education of the magical wonders of the biodiversity of Costa Rica.
