When it comes to our favorite hotels in Costa Rica there are quite a few out there but I would have to say that since Nayara opens it’s doors in 2008 we have yet to find one that our clients like more. Nayara is a small hotel, a little over 30 rooms. It is located just outside the town of La Fortuna on the side of the Arenal Volcano with spectacular views from each room.

From the moment you arrive you are awed by the wood-work in the lobby, unique style of the suites and the first-class service. We feel this hotel fits our style of operating tours as it is small, privately run, and treats our clients they way we expect them to be treated.

The rooms are what makes this place special. They are very spacious with large balconies and bathrooms. Each room has an outside shower so if you are up for taking a shower in the jungle it is all you. Each room also has a Jacuzzi on the balcony so if you want to watch the volcano erupt from a Jacuzzi then have at it.

There is a pool that is very close to each room and a bar in the pool where you can relax and of course watch the volcano from the pool.

The spa also has great views of the volcano and offers services everyday.

The restaurant is an excellent place to eat and very comfortable. Although the hotel is always full the restaurant is never crowded they do an great job of not letting that happen in spreading out the different reservations.

I let Trip Advisor do its part when suggesting this hotel to my clients. This hotel from what I have gathered has received amazing reviews on Trip Advisor, probably more so than any other hotel in all of Costa Rica. I have yet to see a negative comment on Trip Advisor about this hotel and I feel safe in saying I would suggest this hotel to anyone. Nayara can work for the family or the honeymooners.
