 Costa Rica Whitewater Rafting
Costa Rica is a country the size of West Virginia, with a lot of rain, high mountains, and two coasts. All this adds up to be the perfect spot for tons of whitewater rafting fun. Costa Rica is home to what National Geographic has as one of their top five rafting rivers on the planet, the famous Pacuare. Our company was started on the Pacuare River and if we had to pick our main expertise it would be whitewater rafting. Because of this we now offer one and two day trips to the Pacuare River and the nearby Pejibaye River for those looking for a little less adventure. At Costa Rican Resource we primarily do all inclusive tours of the country, but because of our love of the river, we offer these tours at a low cost hoping to give locals and visitors from other countries a chance to experience what we consider the pearl of Costa Rica. Whitewater rafting in Costa Rica is a safe sport that has been operated for over 20 years. Our guides have been on the river an average of 15 years. All of our guides are at an instructors level of guiding. All of our trips are operated privately giving the personal attention each group should have during an adventure sport. When whitewater rafting in Costa Rica the Pejibaye River is a great option for kids or an older crowd that wants to get wet but not experience the rough rapids of the Pacuare. The Pejibaye is class II & III which means you will definitely get plenty of water in the face but we plan on keeping you in the boat during your rafting trip. The Pacuare River is a class III & IV which means there is a bit more adventure involved. You will raft for around 3 hours on a run that measures 27km. This is considered the best whitewater rafting trip in all of Costa Rica. It is also considered one of the best on the planet. We operate this trip for first timers but they have to be over the age of 12 and in good physical shape. Our whitewater rafting tours are run at a very professional level from start to finish. Our company was formed by a group of river experts that have many years of experience in Costa Rica whitewater rafting. We concentrate on student travel and Costa Rican vacations but feel the need to show as many people as possible the natural beauties of the rivers of Costa Rica. This is why are prices are unbeatable as we run our river trips at a low profit margin hoping that locals will take the opportunity to experience the wonderful adventure of whitewater rafting in Costa Rica.
